01 Information we collect
1.1 Personal information
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Account information: Name, email address, phone number (optional for some sign-in methods), and profile photo. When you provide a phone number, we may send verification codes via SMS using a third-party provider to verify your number.
- Sign-in with Apple or Google: If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier from the provider and, when you allow it, your email address.
- Profile information: Running preferences, city, state, country, and other information you choose to share.
- User-generated content: Run cards, club information, meeting schedules, and other content you create.
1.2 Location information
We collect location data to provide core features:
- Run tracking: To track your running routes and distances during runs.
- Finding nearby clubs: To help you discover running clubs in your area.
- Meeting locations: To show you where group runs are taking place.
- City/region: We may derive your city or region from location (e.g. for search and discovery).
1.3 Device information
We automatically collect certain information about your device, including:
- Device type and operating system
- Push notification tokens (to send you notifications)
- Error and crash reports (we use services such as Sentry to help fix bugs and improve the app)
1.4 Third-party services
When you use linked or integrated services, we may receive or use data as follows:
- Strava: If you connect Strava, we access your Strava account to sync running activities and display them (e.g. on your run card or when linking results to a run).
- Google Places: We use Google Places to help you find and select locations for runs and meetings.
- Apple Sign In / Google Sign In: Used only to authenticate you; we receive a unique identifier and, if you consent, email from the provider.

We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Create and manage your account
- Track your runs and fitness activities
- Connect you with running clubs and other runners
- Send you push notifications about upcoming runs and club activities
- Personalize your experience
- Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns and trends
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues
04 Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: You can access and update your account information through the app settings.
- Deletion: You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → Account) or by contacting us. We remove your account and associated data; some data may be retained where necessary (e.g. historical run registrations) and displayed as "Deleted User" to preserve club and run history.
- Location controls: You can control location permissions through your device settings.
- Push notifications: You can manage push notification preferences in your device settings.
- Third-party connections: You can disconnect third-party services (like Strava) at any time.
06 Children's privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
07 International users
If you are using our app from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
